WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM
A ROCKIN' REPTILES ENCOUNTER?

At every encounter you can expect a fun, educational and interactive session, tailored specifically to the audience size and age.

We provide a variety of friendly animals including snakes, lizards and invertebrates. From a crested gecko and blue tongue skink to a 12ft Burmese python and a Chinese alligator. We'll teach you about their natural habitats and behaviours, as well as dispel some of the myths that surround them. For certain encounters, we can talk about how to care for them in captivity and their specialist care requirements.

Everyone participating in one of our encounters will get the opportunity to touch and hold the animals, although there is absolutely no pressure to do so. We recognise that some people can be nervous. You’ll be given clear guidance on how to do this in a safe manner. We usually incorporate some sort of animal feeding in our 1hr+ sessions.

If you're hosting a birthday party with smaller numbers, we can come to your home if you have the space. For the larger sessions, we recommend hiring a hall.

On the day, we like to arrive approx. 15 mins before guests to allow us to set up for the encounter.

For our birthday packages, the person celebrating their birthday will be able to choose one of our available gifts (usually t-shirts, soft toys, jewellery etc) and all children involved can also grab themselves some stickers.
